Good Morning Friends!

On the part of RTE implementation, we have to communicate the Society about this act. In this connection we have to conduct rallies on 01.04.2010, and Distributing the pamphlets.

* So, I designed some slogans. If want those slogans and pamphlet matter (given by Govt).
* Dont Print pamphlets. I think SSA,NLR will give those pamphlets at least 1000 per mandal.

Right to Education Act 2009


 

    About the Act
The Andhra Pradesh state government has initiated the process of implementing the Right to Education (RTE) Act, which provides free and compulsory education to children in the age group of 6-14 years, from the coming academic year. It has also asked the department of school education to carry out a detailed mapping of existing schools to establish ‘neighbourhood schools’ as a part of the RTE. 


As a Part of Education Department our MRC role to achieve the fruits of this Act, 

Our plan of Action is:
1) Conducting all HMs Meeting on 29.03.2010 at Mandal Level
2) Aware the HMs about The Right to Education Act 2009. if possible give the copy of it.
3) Discuss the Sailent Features of above Act. And Discuss the meaning of Neighbourhood Schools.
2) Finalise the Process of 'Identification of Neighbourhood School" Habitation wise
3) Submit the soft & Hard copy of above worksheet to RVM District Office on 30.03.2010.
4)  From the 01.04.2010 at mandal level actions
a)Organizing rallies involving Children, Teachers, Parents, Community leaders, Youth Associations, Mahila Samykyas etc.
 b) Distribution of pamphlets.
 c)Convening press meetings.

Hints to fill up Annexure-1
If there are more no. of schools located in the specified distance from an habitation, all the schools have to be notified as “neighbourhood Schools”. Thus there is no need to have only one neighbourhood school for an habitation in the specified distance.
* If a school is Neighbour for two or more Habitations, fill it for all Habitations as Neighbourhood School
* For I-V classes take Primary & Upper Primary schools also
* For VI,VII classes take Upper Primary & High Schools also.
* For VII class take only High Schools.
Take Government Schools include Schools managed by State Govt., MPP, ZPP, Municipal, Tribal Welfare Dept., Social Welfare Dept. (excluding Residential Schools) and Aided Schools.
If any Habitation does not have neighbourhood school in the specified distance, write “Nil” in the concerned box.  If the Habitation is covered with EGS Centre write “EGS” in remarks column.
