Dear Friends!
In Excel we don't have function to find difference bet ween days, and also number to rupees. In our daily work these functions are very useful. So, I developed an add-in for excel with these functions. Today I will explain the process of installation and usage of this add-in.
Installation Process:
After Downloading below zip file follow below steps to install it on your system
Step1: Extract it and Copy the file "Pavan Functions.xla" in the Drive "C:\"
Step2: Open Excel. After opening excel application press these buttons from your key board
press "ALT" button(Press it until follwing four letters Pressing) and "T", "M", "S", "L" and press "Enter"
Step3: Goto Tools Menu ---> "Add-In". In the appered window click on "Browse Button" and select "C:\Pavan Functions.xla". and Ok.
Now the Installation process over.
Usage:
with this file you have permission to use below three functions
1) Pavan_ddate(): this function will give you the difference of two dates.
Syntax: "=pavan_ddate(Date1,Date2)".
Output: "YY Years MM months DD days"
2) Pavan_ntt(): This function will convert the number to text.
Syntax: "=pavan_ntt(Num)"
Output: " X thousands Y Hundred"
3) Pavan_ntr(): This function will convert number to Rupees.
Syntax: "=pavan_ntr(Num)"
Output: "In Words Rupees xxxx Only".
